We wanted to go hiking over Memorial Day Weekend, so I wanted to have something to keep the kids energy up, but that they wouldn’t complain about either. We headed to Walmart to pick up ingredients for our own trail mix. I could not resist grabbing a couple bags of TWIX Bites to toss in the mix. I had to reach way back in the shelf, since everyone else seems to like TWIX as much as I do.
I almost grabbed some UNO too…but remembered we already have it.

We ended up driving up the Uinta Mountains to get to Cascade Springs for our hike. It’s so beautiful up there, but there was a sign asking us not to bring food onto the trail. So after the hike the kids were thrilled to have a chocolatey treat. I’m pretty sure all the TWIX Bites were picked out first while the peanuts were mostly handed back to me…
Really I think she was saying “Mom just let me eat it!!” After chasing Princess R around the springs, I know all I really wanted was to grab my bag of mix and eat it.
Where will you take TWIX Bites Trail Mix this summer?
Oh yum! I love the addition of freeze dried raspberry! I love chocolate and raspberry together, and these twix bites look dangerous!
oh they are very dangerous Krista 😉 I can't promise that a whole 2 bags actually made it into my mix.
What a colorful trail mix. The raspberries and chocolate really make it special.

I love Twix! I am going to be on the lookout for the bite size…then I can eat more, with less guilt 😉
hahaha…Will you have less guilt because they are smaller…because I could have eaten the whole bag to myself, and probably felt pretty guilty still 😉
Please dont let your child drink fluoride water >.<
I haven't looked into why not yet, but we've had fluoride drops prescribed to my children by a dentist and agreed on with my pediatrician. So I feel for my kids it's not a bad thing to have.
I love the sweet and salty flavor combos you have here! Those TWIX Bites are addictive too! #client
They seriously are addicting!
I have a secret stash in the utility closet. Shh…don’t tell
haha that’s awesome!
